Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park
Your tour begins as you make your way from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, which lies on the floor of the Eastern Rift Valley in Tanzania.Your first night on tour is spent at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, set on the edge on the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment with incredible views over the park.Overnight : Manyara Serena Lodge
Day 2: Ngorogoro Crater
In the morning you descend into Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing, returning to the lodge for lunch. In the heat of the day lion can be seen stretched on the branches of flat-topped acacia trees - a habit only endemic to Manyara lions. Along with these amazing tree-climbing lions there are the usual browsers and grazers as well as around 380 species of birdlife. Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Start the day with a half day game drive in the crater. Grasslands, swamps, lakes, rivers, woodlands, mountains and an incredible abundance of wildlife are all present in this wonderous microcosm of Africa.You spend the afternoon at leisure at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, which has been constructed into the rim of the crater with endless views over the plains below. Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Depart with a picnic lunch and drive via Olduvai Gorge, where some of the most important fossil humanoid remains have been unearthed, to the Serengeti National Park. Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Today you have both morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti. This is one of the world's last great wildlife sanctuaries in fact the name comes from the Maasai 'siringet' which means 'endless plains', and the Serengeti is just that.You spend a second night at Serengeti Serena Safari LodgeOvernight : Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
Day 6: Nairobi
In the morning you transfer to Seronera Airstrip for a flight to Arusha. From here you fly to Nairobi, Kenya's capital city.You spend the night at the 5-star Nairobi Serena Hotel, peacefully set in landscaped gardens and overlooking Central Park.Overnight : Nairobi Serena Hotel
Day 7: Samburu National Park
From Nairobi you are driven to the Samburu National Park in Kenya's rugged and remote Northern Frontier District. After lunch you go on your first game drive in this dramatic landscape - a lava plain with steep-sided gullies and rounded hills.
You spend the night in one of the natural stone cottages at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge, on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River.Overnight : Samburu Serena Safari Lodge
Day 8: Samburu National Park
You spend your day on an early morning and afternoon game drive. Some of Kenya's rarer species like the long-necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe can be seen in this reserve, and the green ribbon of forest on either side of the river is alive with birds.In the evening you can scan the beautiful view of the river; spotting wildlife such as elephant, monkeys and crocs.Overnight : Samburu Serena Safari Lodge
Day 9: Mount Kenya National Park
In the morning you are driven to Mount Kenya National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Serena Mountain Lodge. The lodge overlooks a floodlit natural water-hole and salt lick, and your afternoon and evening can be spent viewing game from the lodge itself. Elephant, buffalo, rhino and waterbuck are all regularly seen coming out of the dense surrounding rain forest.Overnight : Serena Mountain Lodge
Day 10: Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast you are driven to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Your afternoon is spent viewing game. The shallow soda lake is home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo, and the park also provides a sanctuary for buffalo, waterbuck, impala, Rothschild giraffe, and leopard.You spend the night at Naivasha Sopa Lodge on the southern shores of peaceful Lake Naivasha.Overnight : Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge
Day 11: Masai Mara National Park
In the morning you are driven to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Your afternoon is spent on a game drive, giving you your first taste of this remarkable reserve.You overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge. Day 12: Masai Mara National Park
Today you go on both morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara. Lion are common in the Mara, as are the rest of Africa's 'Big 5'. Other animals you are likely to see on your drives include zebra, jackal, gazelle, giraffe and eland.The swimming pool at Mara Serena is a definite highlight, you can cool off after your game drive and still watch game on the plains far below.Overnight : Mara Serena Safari Lodge
Day 13: Day of Departure
After breakfast at the lodge you are driven back to Nairobi, arriving at around noon.

Rates are based on a minimum of 2 persons. A price reduction is available for numbers above two persons.
Package Includes:
- Accommodation as detailed in the itinerary (hotel, lodge, camp).
- All meals noted in the itinerary. Each day generally includes Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner buffets consisting of both western and local dishes.
- Transportation in a minivan fitted with a pop-up roof for game-viewing and photography. Every passenger is guaranteed a window seat. Your driver (who is also your guide) speaks English and has in-depth knowledge of the flora, fauna, landscape, and culture of East Africa.
- Safari Vehicles are outfitted with two-way, long range high frequency radio communications equipment.
- Each minivan carries safari accessories including wildlife books, beanbags to support cameras on car doors and window sills, binoculars, a first-aid kit, an ice-chest, and a fire extinguisher.
- Bottled mineral water during game drives.
- Park entrance fees and game drives as noted in the itinerary.
