Day 1:
Meet and greet at the airport and travel to Kampala.
In the afternoon, take a sight seeing tour of
Kampala. Visit the Uganda Martyrs shrine, Kasubi
Kings' Tombs, the Cathedrals of Rubaga and Namirembe.
Later, transfer to the Kampala Sheraton Hotel
for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan -Bed &
Breakfast-TRANSIT TIME 1 HOUR.
Day 2:
Breakfast, travel to the Mount Elgon base and
enjoy lunch at the Sipi Falls Rest Camp. In the
afternoon, take an evening hike to the Sipi Falls.
Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Meal Plan - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner-TRANSIT
TIME 5 HOURS.
Day 3:
Early morning breakfast, then start hike following
the Kapkwata Trail head. A scenic hike through
the bamboo, heath and moorland gets you to the
Piswa Camp 2850m. Meal Plan - Breakfast, Lunch
and Dinner.
Day 4:
Hike up to the rim of the Caldera through beautiful
columns of Lobelia Elgonensis visiting the Hot
springs and the Suam gorge before descending to
the Hunters Cave Camp.3870m for overnight. Meal
Plan - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5:
Morning breakfast, and then ascend to the top
of the Caldera moving to the Wagagai Peak 4321.
Descend thereafter through the Jackson's Summit
and the Jackson's pool to overnight at the Mude
Camp 3500m. Meal Plan - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 6:
Early morning, descend through the Sasa trail
to Budadiri then travel to Mbale and proceed to
Kampala for overnight at the Kampala Sheraton
Hotel. Meal Plan - Breakfast and Lunch. Transit
time 6 hours.
Day 7:
After breakfast, your driver guide will transfer
to the airport to catch your outbound flight.
Meal Plan - Breakfast. Transit time 1 hour.
